The Chelsea Flower Show: Why is it on BBC1?

Isn%26#039;t the point of it, for people to visit and see it in person rather than not watch Bargain Hunt which should be on the tv?





Yes I know I don%26#039;t have to and am not watching it and am having to watch very un-loose women on ITV:-(

Don%26#039;t panic Mr. Mannering it won%26#039;t be on for long!!! Not everyone can afford to visit or live near enough Elric, let us gardeners have a little bit of tv for a very short time!!! You can watch Dickenson%26#039;s Real Deal on Itv1 at 2pm in place of Bargain Hunt!

Reply:What about people who are unable to go and visit in person? Perhaps they%26#039;re not able bodied enough to make it? perhaps they%26#039;re a cancer patient who can%26#039;t physically make it there so can at least watch it on tv? or housebound? or taking care of the needs of an elderly relative? The list is endless and i can hardly believe such a narrow minded question has been asked. If you don%26#039;t want to watch it or %26#039;loose women%26#039; then here%26#039;s an idea, watch a dvd/video.
Reply:Not everybody can afford to travel down to London and pay to get into Chelsea.





As someone else said its only once a year.





How many times a year do you find that your evening viewings changed because of a gang of overpaid people kicking a ball around?
Reply:You could also go for a brisk walk or run to try to get rid of that beer belly - or like me, go up your mum%26#039;s.

I think BBC2 would have been a better choice
